Emotional and Fun Wedding in Downtown Savannah, GA - Wedding Photographer and Videographer
Kylie + Michael live in Florida, but have a lot of family in Georgia, which is what led them to decide on Savannah, GA for their wedding day. Throughout their whole relationship, music always played a huge role, so choosing a venue that was music focused was really important.
Victory North in Savannah, GA was the perfect spot, with 3 floors, a huge courtyard, and a short drive from Forsyth Park.
On one of our first calls together, Kylie said that they did things backwards, they had a kid first, bought a house, and then are finally getting married. They’ve been together for over 10 years though, have been to hell and back together, and their physical and emotional comfort with each other shined so much on their big day.
It was a very emotional day for everyone involved, and there were no dry eyes during their ceremony. After a very emotional ceremony given by Mikey’s dad, their son Theo joined them for their walk down the aisle as they finally became an official family.
Although the day was a bit behind schedule, we booked it over to Forsyth Park for their couples portraits, and we were not disappointed. The photos captured their relationship perfectly, fun, intimate, and in love.
Fun Fact: While in the park, we heard someone playing beautiful jazz music on a horn, so we ran over there, and captured Kylie and Mikey dancing in the park, losing themselves in that moment with each other. It was amazing!
After some emotional speeches, amazing food, flaming donuts, cake, and drinks, the party commenced, and lasted all night long!
It was an absolute honor to be able to capture this wedding, and now they’re adding another little guy to the family!
